A Quick Nap Can Be the Cure for Afternoon Fatigue

Many times, mid-afternoon can feel like a challenging period to slug through, especially after a stressful and busy morning. A lot of people turn to another cup of coffee or a sugary snack to power through, but these quick fixes usually don’t help much and can lead to feeling much worse. If you’re feeling especially tired, it would seem that taking a nap would be the most natural thing to do to perk up and be productive for the rest of the day. Experts would definitely agree that the health benefits of taking a nap are extensive, and naps are encouraged for adults to regularly participate in to help shake off mid-afternoon fatigue and increase alertness, memory performance, and relaxation.
